RDT Reinstatement

 

If you need to reinstate your Registry after a lapse of two years or more, you will need to submit the following information to the NADTA Office and Registry Committee:

Reinstatement applicants must submit:

  1. A reinstatement request letter explaining when your Registry lapsed, why you wish to be reinstated, and what you have done to stay current in drama therapy since your lapse. Please include current contact information at the top of your letter: your email, phone number, and address, so that the Registry committee can contact you if needed.
  2. Completed Continue Education form with documentation of the 30 Continue Education Credits completed in the last 2 years, including certificates from workshops, conferences, courses, etc. (Please refer to the Continue Education Webpage for details.)

  3. Signed and scanned Code of Ethical Principles. (Please refer to the Ethics Webpage details.)

  4. $100 Reinstatement Fee
  5. Payment of past membership dues owed up to 2 years of lapsing (if two or more years have lapsed) and the current year membership due for RDTs. *If you are an RDT/BCT, dues in arrears must be paid in full (back to your membership expiration date). To learn about this policy, please see ARTICLE IV in the Bylaws.

The Registry Committee will review your application after submitting all the documents. The review process typically takes 8 weeks. Once your application is approved, you will be provided a membership-due renewal link to pay for the current year's membership due. 

Renewal of the Registry is contingent upon signing and adhering to the NADTA Code of Ethical Principles, staying current with annual Registry fees which are due by May 1st each year, and remaining in compliance with the Continuing Education Policy.

Scenario 1 - RDT membership lapsed for 2 years
