*Please note that the presentation portion of this research dialogue will be recorded*

Research dialogues are opportunities for members of the drama therapy community to learn about recent research findings, engage with authors, and find out more about research opportunities. We invite you to join us and get involved with the research community!

Our first conversation will focus on the Drama Therapy Review article “Systemic Barriers in Mental Health Care for LGBTQI and Gender Nonconforming Drama Therapists and Clients” (2017). Authors Mark Beauregard, Ross Stone, Nadya Trytan, and Nisha Sajnani will give a brief presentation of their survey research which assessed drama therapists’ attitudes and actions regarding lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex (LGBTQI) and gender nonconforming (GNC) communities. This presentation will be followed by a discussion of the research process and findings, as well as a Q&A with participants on the call. We look forward to seeing you there!
